Born into a family of farmers and winegrowers in Tunisia, he decided to settle in the heart of the French vineyards. Extensive work was undertaken to restructure the estate and its facilities. As a result, the quality improved and the Château's reputation grew significantly.
Member of theUnion of Grands Crusand of theCommandery of BontempsChâteau Fourcas Dupré receives the distinction ofPremier Cru Bourgeoisin 2003. Often described as a Premier Cru Bourgeois Supérieur, the Château is now managed by the brothersPatrice and Ghislain Pageswho together contribute to the promotion of their wine.

It's north of Bordeaux, in the appellation ofListrac MédocThe vineyard is located between Moulis and Saint-Julien. The 46 hectares of vines stretch out in a single block across gravel, clay, and limestone soils. These rich soils, of a rare composition, lie at an altitude of 42 meters, at the highest point of the Médoc. This location allows the vines to benefit from natural drainage and optimal sun exposure.
