This great Burgundy wine is produced in the Côte de Nuits wine region, on marl and limestone soils, which give it its powerful character on the palate. The Grands-Echezeaux appellation exclusively produces dry red wines, in the still wine category. In addition to its AOC and AOP designations, this wine also carries the "Grand Cru" designation, which certifies vines with exceptional orientation and soil, as well as a very rigorous winemaking process.
