    The estate's vines flourish in clay-limestone soils, lending a mineral structure to the wine. The Les Charmes plot is renowned for its finesse, and the 2021 vintage elegantly expresses the classic aromas of Pinot Noir, highlighting the expertise of Domaine Bruno Clair and the beauty of this exceptional terroir.

    Vinification and aging

    At Domaine Bruno Clair, winemaking respects the unique character of each plot. The grapes are harvested by hand, with meticulous sorting. Fermentation takes place in open vats to allow for a gentle extraction of aromas and tannins, followed by aging in oak barrels, a limited proportion of which are new, thus preserving the wine's fruity character. For the 2021 Les Charmes cuvée, 18 months of barrel aging imparts a silky structure and aromatic complexity, where notes of red fruit mingle with a subtle touch of spice. This vintage displays a remarkable balance between power and finesse, typical of the finest Chambolle-Musigny.
