The Domaine Faiveley vineyard is a true haven of biodiversity, where vines flourish in the clay-limestone soils typical of Burgundy. These mineral-rich soils impart remarkable depth and intensity to the grapes. The vines, some several decades old, benefit from an optimal microclimate, with sunny days and cool nights, promoting a slow and harmonious ripening of the berries. This meticulous attention to the vineyard reflects an environmentally conscious philosophy, guaranteeing the exceptional quality of the wines.

Owner and history

Today, Domaine Faiveley is run by the seventh generation of the family, with Erwan Faiveley at its helm. Under his leadership, the estate continues to uphold family traditions while exploring new techniques to enhance its terroir. Passionate about his heritage, Erwan is committed to producing exceptional wines that tell the story of their land. His approach, combining respect for the past with a modern vision, makes Domaine Faiveley a leading name in the world of Burgundy's finest wines.

Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Domaine Faiveley is a meticulous process, blending tradition and innovation. After the grapes are hand-harvested, they are gently pressed to extract the juice. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness of the aromas, followed by aging in oak barrels, some of which are new. This aging process, lasting 12 to 18 months, allows the wine to refine and enrich its complexity while respecting the expression of the terroir. The estate oversees each step, thus guaranteeing wines of great purity and elegant structure.
