The Laurent-Perrier vineyards extend across exceptional terroirs, primarily located in the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs. The soils, composed mainly of chalk, offer perfect drainage and a high mineral content. This unique terroir, combined with a continental climate, allows for the production of grapes of exceptional quality. The vines, cultivated with care, benefit from optimal sunshine, promoting the ripening of the grape varieties. Each plot is carefully selected to contribute to the creation of refined and distinctive champagnes.

    Owner and history

Today, Maison Laurent-Perrier is led by Stéphane Dehan, who embodies the family's passion and commitment to excellence. Under his leadership, the estate continues to evolve while remaining true to its roots. The De Nonancourt family is dedicated to preserving the house's heritage while innovating to meet the expectations of wine lovers. Their philosophy is based on a constant pursuit of quality, with a deep respect for the terroir and winemaking traditions. This strong link between history and modernity allows Laurent-Perrier to stand out among the greatest champagnes.

    Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Laurent-Perrier is a mastered art, combining traditional techniques with modern innovations. The grapes are carefully hand-harvested and then gently pressed to preserve their integrity. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing for precise temperature management. After aging on the lees, the wine is blended, and the second fermentation in the bottle is carried out using the traditional method. This process, coupled with extended aging in the cellars, gives Laurent-Perrier champagnes their complexity and finesse. Each cuvée reflects expertise passed down through generations.
