The Taittinger Champagne vineyards stretch across exceptional terroirs, primarily located in the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs. These terroirs, composed mainly of chalky soils, foster the flourishing of noble grape varieties. The sustainable farming practices employed here respect the natural balance of the vines, guaranteeing a harvest of optimal quality. The vines, averaging 30 years old, benefit from ideal sun exposure, which contributes to the richness and complexity of Taittinger Champagnes.

    Owner and history

Today, the Taittinger house is managed by Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger, representing the third generation of this iconic family. Under his leadership, the estate continues to embody the spirit of innovation and tradition that has made it famous. Pierre-Emmanuel has successfully combined modernity with respect for family values, ensuring the continuity of winemaking practices and the excellence of its champagnes. The house is also committed to cultural and environmental projects, thus strengthening its connection to the land and the community.

    Vinification and aging

The winemaking process for Taittinger Brut Prestige Rosé Champagne is the result of traditional expertise. After hand-harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed to extract the juice. Fermented at low temperatures, the must is then aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve the purity of the aromas. The rosé winemaking method, using the saignée technique, results in a delicate color and intense flavors. After aging on its lees for several years, the wine is bottled with a carefully crafted dosage liqueur before being further refined in the cellars to develop its complexity.
