The Côteaux Bourguignons AOC was established in 2011. This regional AOC is authorized for red and white wines in the departments of Yonne, Côte-d'Or, Saône-et-Loire, and Rhône. Red wines can be blends or single-varietal wines made from Pinot Noir, Gamay, and César grapes. White wines can be made from Chardonnay, Aligoté, Melon de Bourgogne, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Gris grapes. This appellation covers an area of 135 hectares, including 110 hectares of red and rosé vineyards and 25 hectares of white vineyards.
