From transmission to inheritance
THEBart EstateIt has existed for about fifty years. Originally, the vineyard only covered an area of 6 hectares. In 1985, the neighboring estate ofClair-Däuis dissolved. ThereBart familytook advantage of the opportunity to expand its vineyard onto prestigious plots. The plots have grown to reach 21 hectares of vines today.

The style of the wines
A classic and consistent safe bet
The range ofBart Estateis very broad. We find generic terms such asBurgundyuntilChambertin Grand Cru Clos de Bèzepassing through wines inMarsannayvery high quality.
The grapes are harvested by hand throughout the estate to preserve the integrity of the fruit and the purity of the juice. The vineyard is managed sustainably. For six generations, respect for the terroir, the environment, and traditions have been the guiding principles of vineyard management. Winemaking is carried out using very traditional methods to preserve the typicity of the Burgundian grape varieties.
Martin and Odile BartThey are cousins of Bruno Clair, also a Burgundy winemaker. All three share some plots of land but also a common vision of viticulture: letting the terroir express itself.burgundyin its finesse. They favour a perfect and advanced ripeness of the grapes with a cold pre-maceration in order to bring out the fruitiness of the bunches.
We like the wines from the estate because they meet Burgundian standards: fruitiness, finesse and authenticity.
