The history of the estate

A family passion

Pierre-Vincent Girardinis a very young winemaker. He grew up among the vines and learned the trade from a very young age. The son of a winemaker, he learned the trade alongside his father.Vincent GirardinHe created his own vineyard from 2 hectares of vines and achieved great success thanks to his high-quality wines. He then began buying and reselling wines before retiring. His son represents the 13th generation of his family to work in wine and benefits from the family heritage and expertise. Drawing on his tastings at the finest estates and his travels around the world, he has developed a comprehensive understanding and vision of viticulture. He made his first vintage in 2017 with his father, at only 19 years old. The wines already demonstrate the winemaker's maturity; thanks to his father's support, the beauty of the terroirs he cultivates, and his own expertise, he has achieved great success from his very first vintages.

Prestigious climates beautifully showcased

The estate covers 4.5 hectares of vineyards in very prestigious appellations.Beaune, Corton, Pommard, Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet and Bâtard-Montrachetare already part of the range. The winemaker aims to further expand his vineyard to 10 hectares within two years. The vineyard is expected to be converted intoorganic farmingwithin the next 5 years.

The vineyard is made up of 40% ofchardonnayand 60% ofPinot Noir.Pierre-Vincent Girardinseeks to convey the identity of the terroir and the different climates in its wines.

Wines from the cellar to the bottle

Wines that combine freshness, tradition and modernity

The estate is located atMeursaultand is equipped with a state-of-the-art winery. Bottling is done on the estate according to the lunar calendar. The choice of barrels is meticulous, with sizes and toasting levels selected specifically for each vintage.

For aging the white wines, 456-liter barrels are used to minimize the influence of new oak. This meticulous approach allows him to produce perfectly balanced, mineral-driven white wines.

The red wines undergo a long, gentle pressing with little (or no) punch-down and are bottled unfiltered. They are flavorful, bursting with fruit and freshness, supple, and show very little oak influence.
