The Château Citran vineyard
THEChâteau Citranis a wine estate ofHaut-MédocThe vineyard now covers more than 100 hectares in production.Château Citranattaches great importance to the observation of its vineyard. Indeed, a renovation project has been underway for several years. The objective is to allow certain plots to benefit from better sun exposure, thanks to the reorientation of some rows. All the estate's plots receive appropriate treatment. Thus, several crops are cultivated, including traditional methods (mechanically tilled soil and conventional phytosanitary treatments). Organic farming is practiced on a portion of the vineyard; some plots have their soils sown with cover crops to improve soil structure.Château Citranadapts extremely well to environmental constraints.
