        The history of the estate

        A family adventure

        Clos Triguedinahas belonged to the Baldès family since 1830. Etienne Baldès acquired the estate on the lands ofCahors, a village located in the heart of southwestern France. There, he planted approximately 5 hectares of vines in the Lot Valley, practiced mixed farming, and produced a Malbec wine which he sold to individuals, wine merchants, and through trade. Emile Baldès succeeded him in 1920, but the winemaker was called to the front during the First World War. He bequeathed the estate to his wife, Anna Baldès, who ran it alone for almost 7 years. Today,Jean-Luc BaldèsJean-Luc Baldès runs the estate with his wife, Sabine. He gradually abandoned mixed farming and switched to bottling all of his production. His work has been rewarded; his red and white wines have impressed judges at national and international competitions.
