    Owner and history

The Château Haut-Bergey vineyard covers 38 hectares dedicated to red wines. The vines are planted in gravelly soil over a clay-siliceous subsoil. The overall grape varieties are 45% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petit Verdot, 7% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Malbec.

    Vinification and aging

The red wines are vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve their freshness. They are then aged for 16 to 18 months in French oak barrels (50% new oak).
