Step inside the finest Bordeaux estates through their most sought-after second wines. This exclusive discovery case brings together 6 prestige bottles (3x2 bottles) who share the same terroir, the same winemaking requirements and the same teams of master craftsmen as their legendary predecessors.

From the Left Bank to Right BankThis set offers a unique stylistic panorama: the sensuality of Margaux, the solar power of Saint-Émilion and the smoke race of Pessac-LéognanA rare opportunity to taste the signature of the greatest châteaux, with wines that open up more quickly than the first growths but retain an immense capacity for aging.

2 x 75cl ofAlter Ego de Palmer (Margaux)
Vinous 94-96
More than one second vin, Alter Ego is another interpretation of the unique terroir of Château Palmer (Third Cru Classé, (but at the level of the very best). Made using biodynamic methods, it seduces with its vibrant fruit and velvety texture. The nose is an explosion of black fruit, violet, and sweet spices. On the palate, the tannins are infinitely supple, offering immediate lusciousness and aromatic freshness.

2 x 75cl Aromas of Pavia (Saint-Émilion Grand Cru)
J. Suckling 92-93
From the legendary Château Pavia (First Grand Cru Classé "A"), this wine embodies the power and nobility of the Right Bank. Dominated by Merlot, it reveals a dark color and a generous nose of black cherry, prune, licorice, and subtly woody notes. The palate is dense, fleshy, and structured, supported by rich tannins that guarantee harmonious and majestic aging.

2 x 75cl of La Chapelle de La Mission Haut-Brion (Pessac-Léognan)
J. Suckling 94-95
Second vin legendary Château La Mission Haut-Brion, This vintage pays homage to the Lazarist fathers who shaped the domaine. This is a complex, profound, and elegant wine, marked by its gravelly terroir. On the nose, blackberry and blackcurrant mingle with notes of blond tobacco, graphite, and smoke, typical of the estate. Its silky texture and harmonious finish make it a model of Bordeaux elegance.

Why should you fall for this selection?

A journey on both shores: The perfect set to capture the major nuances of Bordeaux. Compare the floral finesse of the Merlot to Margaux (Palmer), the limestone and solar power of Saint-Émilion (Pavie) and the complex nobility of the gravel terroir (La Mission).

Excellence without the wait: Designed to be enjoyed earlier than the Great Wines, these second wines offer immense pleasure from today after proper decanting, while having the potential to age gracefully in the cellar for 10 to 15 years.

Memorable gastronomic pairings: Alter Ego will enhance a roast duck with cherries; Arômes de Pavie will perfectly accompany a rib of beef or game; while La Chapelle de La Mission will work wonders on a leg of lamb with herbs.
