This is the first vineyard planted by the Zuccardi family in the Uco Valley; it marks a significant step in their quest to define the terroir of Paraje Altamira. Its alluvial soils, composed of gravel covered with limestone deposits, have been irrigated for decades by the waters of the Uco Canal, the first canal to draw water from the Tunuyán River. In this landscape, Malbec vines grow alongside enormous stones, poplar groves, and the majestic backdrop of the Andes Mountains.
