    Owner and history

    On a 98-hectare vineyard, Château Cantemerle houses vines that are on average 40 years old. Thus, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot grow side by side on a siliceous-gravelly soil very typical of the Haut-Médoc.

    Vinification and aging

    The grapes are harvested by hand with selective sorting.
    The wine is aged in new oak barrels (40%) for 12 months.
