    Owner and history

    Château d'Aiguilhe currently covers 140 hectares, 90 of which are entirely dedicated to vineyards. For many years, the château has practiced biodynamic agriculture, though it has not yet obtained certification. Within the vineyard, the most prevalent grape variety is Merlot at 80%, with Cabernet Sauvignon also present at 20%. The vines are planted on a clay-limestone and clay-silt plateau. This soil type provides the vines with excellent water regulation.
