    Owner and history

    The vineyard comprises 32 hectares of contiguous vines, with 8,300 vines per hectare. The grape varieties are 70% Merlot, 29% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyard is situated on one of the coolest terroirs in Saint-Émilion: the clay-limestone plateau of Saint-Hippolyte, with soils ranging from brown calcareous clay-sand with rocks, to brown calcareous clay-sand with rocks, brown calcareous soils on compact marl, and brown clay-sand to sandy clay soils.
