    Vinification and aging

    Winemaking at Château La Gurgue follows traditional Bordeaux methods. After a manual harvest, the grapes are carefully sorted and destemmed before being placed in vats. Aging in oak barrels, some of which are new, lasts approximately 12 months, imparting structure and complexity to the wine.
