    Owner and history

The Château Siran vineyard covers 25 hectares in the Margaux appellation. It benefits from a terroir of exceptional quality. The soil is primarily composed of gravel and pebbles that retain very little rainwater. This soil allows the vine roots to draw water from deep underground, creating the famous "water stress," essential for producing a wine of great character.

    Vinification and aging

    For Château Siran 2018:
    - Hand-harvested grapes
    - Short pre-fermentation maceration
    - Winemaking in truncated conical wooden vats
    - Long maceration period of more than 3 weeks
    - Aged in oak barrels in 19th-century vaulted cellars for 16 to 18 months
