The Dom Pérignon vineyard stretches across the hillsides of the Champagne, where the chalky and calcareous soil gives the grapes a unique minerality. climat The continental climate, with its cold winters and sunny summers, allows for a slow and balanced ripening of the grape varieties. The house favors older vines and plots selected for their exposure and terroir, thus guaranteeing the exceptional quality of its champagnes. This expertise, combined with meticulous attention to detail, gives rise to cuvées that reflect the authentic character of their environment.

Owner and history

Dom Pérignon is part of the Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH) group, a major player in the luxury wines and spirits sector. Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Dom Pérignon is a meticulous process, blending tradition and innovation. The hand-harvested grapes are gently pressed to extract the finest juice. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging on the lees, which enriches the wine with complexity. After a long maturation in the cellars, of at least seven years, the second fermentation in the bottle is initiated by the addition of liqueur of extraction. This artisanal process, combined with precise dosing, makes it possible to obtain a champagne both rich and balanced, reflecting years of hard work and passion from the house.
