    Owner and history

    Thirty hectares of vines stretch across varied soils. Closest to the château, a meticulously maintained 4-hectare plot of century-old vines, planted with six grape varieties, is carefully tended. The total grape varieties planted at Haut-Bailly are 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot, and 3% Cabernet Franc. This diversity ensures consistent quality and the reputation of Haut-Bailly.

    Vinification and aging

    Made from the estate's younger vines, HB Haut-Bailly is an approachable wine. The aging process is therefore carefully controlled and shorter than for the estate's other wines.
