Currently, Château La Mission Haut-Brion is owned by the Dillon family, who have successfully perpetuated the legacy of this exceptional estate. Vinification and aging

The vinification of La Chapelle de La Mission Haut-Brion takes place in temperature-controlled vats, allowing for precise temperature control. The grapes are harvested by hand, ensuring rigorous selection of the bunches. After destemming, the grapes are vinified separately by grape variety and terroir, allowing each parcel to express its unique character. The wine is then aged in oak barrels, some of which are new, for approximately 12 months. This method imparts complexity to the wine while preserving the purity of its aromas.
