    Le Château Mouton Rothschild est bien plus qu'un simple domaine viticole ; c'est une légende de Bordeaux, marquée par une histoire familiale forte et un lien indissociable avec l'art. La Baronne Philippine de Rothschild, a modernisé le domaine jusqu'à son décès en 2014. Aujourd'hui, ses trois enfants — Camille Sereys de Rothschild, Philippe Sereys de Rothschild et Julien de Beaumarchais de Rothschild — dirigent ensemble la propriété.

    Owner and history

    Le Petit Mouton Rothschild was created in 1993 and is the second wine of the château. The young vines are planted with Merlot (20%), Cabernet Sauvignon (70%), and Cabernet Franc (10%). The soils are gravelly.

    The team's opinion

    Bien qu'il soit déjà très charmeur, il possède une structure acide qui lui permettra de vieillir magnifiquement. Apogée prévue entre 2026 et 2040. Le vin a été très bien accueilli, avec notamment un 93-94/100 par James Suckling et un 91/100 par Robert Parker, soulignant son élégance "vivacieuse".
