The vineyards of Château Langoa Barton vines are planted on clay-limestone soils, typical of the appellation. Saint-Julien. This unique terroir promotes excellent drainage and even ripening of the grapes. The vineyard, carefully cultivated, benefits from climat temperate oceanic climate, with maritime influences that protect the vines from climatic extremes. This harmony between soil and climat allows us to obtain grapes of exceptional quality, essential for the production of refined and elegant wines.

Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Langoa Barton is a meticulous process, blending tradition and innovation. The carefully selected grapes are destemmed and crushed before being placed in vats for fermentation. This crucial stage takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing for optimal temperature management. Aging, which lasts approximately 12 to 18 months, occurs in oak barrels, some of which are new. This attention to detail at each stage of winemaking guarantees wines of great aromatic complexity, ready to evolve with time.
