THE RWT (For Red Winemaking Trial(an experimental project launched in 1995) distinguishes itself from the famous Grange by its philosophy. While Grange seeks the power and opulence of aging in American oak barrels, RWT focuses on the finesse and the precision thanks to aging exclusively in French oak barrels.

Tasting notes
Visually, the wine displays a deep red color with purplish highlights. The nose reveals an intense bouquet of ripe black fruits, spices, and floral notes. On the palate, it is distinguished by its richness and complexity, combining flavors of blackberry, plum, and a touch of dark chocolate. The finish is long and harmonious, leaving a velvety impression on the palate.

The team's opinion
The 2023 vintage follows in the footsteps of great years, offering a masterful balance between concentration and freshness: A complex bouquet where notes of wild blueberries, blackberries, and crème de cassis mingle. A floral touch (violet) is perceptible, along with nuances of sweet spices and cedar brought by the precious wood. Palate: The attack is fleshy yet remarkably supple. The texture is often described as "velvety" or "silky." The tannins are fine, tight, and perfectly integrated, supporting a long, lingering finish of dark chocolate and white pepper.
