The vineyard of Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande extends across gravel and clay soils, typical of the Pauillac appellation. These particularly well-drained soils promote optimal grape ripeness, allowing the full richness of the terroir to be expressed. Currently, the domaine is run by the Perrotti family-Brown, which continues the legacy of quality and excellence established by the previous owners. Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande is a meticulous process, blending tradition and technology. The carefully selected grapes are destemmed before being placed in vats for controlled fermentation, allowing for the extraction of aromas and tannins. Aging in oak barrels, some of which are new, lasts several months and imparts a unique aromatic complexity to the wine, while respecting the identity of the terroir. This aging process is carefully monitored, ensuring a perfect balance between power and finesse.
