    Owner and history

    The Champagne Deutz vineyards are located on some of the finest terroirs in the Champagne region, predominantly Grands and Premiers Crus situated in the Montagne de Reims, the Vallée de la Marne, and the Côte des Blancs. The La Côte Glaicère plot, from which this cuvée originates, is distinguished by its chalky soil and optimal exposure, allowing the grapes to reach perfect ripeness while retaining remarkable freshness.

    Vinification and aging

    The winemaking process for this cuvée is meticulous, designed to preserve the purity of the fruit and the finesse of its aromas. After hand-harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed to extract the purest juice. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to retain all the freshness and elegance of the Pinot Noir. Following blending, the wine benefits from extended aging on its fine lees in the historic cellars of the Deutz house, located in Aÿ. This prolonged maturation allows the champagne to develop a silky texture and exceptional aromatic complexity, thus enhancing its fruity and mineral notes. Bottle aging, influenced by time, imparts a delicate effervescence and a refined structure to this cuvée, reinforcing its excellent aging potential.
