The Château Gloria vineyard stretches across clay-limestone soils, characteristic of the Saint-Julien region. These mineral-rich soils allow the vines to draw the elements necessary for their growth. The oceanic climate, with its mild winters and hot summers, promotes optimal grape ripening. The vines, cultivated using sustainable practices, receive meticulous attention to respect the environment and ensure the quality of the harvest. Each plot is carefully tended to reveal the best of this exceptional terroir.

    Owner and history

Today, Château Gloria is managed by the Martin family, who have preserved Henri Martin's legacy while bringing a contemporary vision to the estate. This new generation is committed to respecting winemaking traditions while adopting sustainable practices. Their dedication to quality is reflected in every bottle, with constant attention paid to the evolution of winemaking techniques and environmental preservation. Château Gloria continues to be a benchmark for lovers of exceptional wines.

    Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Gloria is a meticulous process, blending tradition and modernity. The grapes, carefully selected by hand, are destemmed before being placed in vats. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled tanks, allowing for precise temperature control to extract maximum aromas. After fermentation, the wine is aged in oak barrels, some of which are new, for approximately 12 to 15 months. This aging process imparts complexity and structure to the wine, while preserving the authentic expression of the terroir.
