Tasting notes

The wine is a deep, almost opaque red. The nose opens with intense aromas of black fruit, blackcurrant, and cherry, accompanied by spicy and woody nuances. On the palate, the wine reveals an imposing tannic structure, balanced by a lovely freshness. The finish is long and persistent, leaving an impression of ripe fruit and dark chocolate.

Food & wine pairings

Ideal with duck breast with cherries or beef bourguignon, this wine enhances rich dishes.

Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Latour It is a rigorous and meticulous process. The grapes are harvested by hand, then carefully sorted. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine is aged in oak barrels, some of which are new. This aging process, lasting 18 to 24 months, allows the tannins to soften and the oak aromas to integrate. Each step is carried out with respect for tradition, guaranteeing the expression of the terroir in every bottle.
