Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Latour is a meticulous process, combining tradition and innovation. The grapes, harvested by hand, are carefully sorted before being vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing for precise temperature control. Aging takes place in oak barrels, a large proportion of which are new, for approximately 18 months. This gives the wines their structure, complexity, and aging potential. Each step is designed to enhance the expression of the unique terroir of Latour.
