The wine is a beautiful, deep, brilliant ruby red. The nose opens with aromas of black fruit, licorice, and delicate woody notes. On the palate, the attack is direct, revealing silky tannins and a lovely structure. The finish is long, with an aromatic persistence that evokes spicy and cocoa nuances, offering a harmonious and complex experience.

The Château Lynch-Moussas vineyard stretches across clay-limestone soils, typical of the Pauillac region. These mineral-rich terroirs allow the vines to draw the energy necessary for their flourishing. The climate, influenced by the Atlantic Ocean, brings optimal ripeness to the grapes, promoting the expression of aromas and the complexity of the wines. The vines, some several decades old, are meticulously tended to guarantee exceptional quality.

    Owner and history

Currently, Château Lynch-Moussas is owned by the Bouteiller family, who have preserved the estate's heritage while injecting a contemporary dynamism. Passionate about their terroir, they are committed to producing quality wines while respecting winemaking traditions. Their dedication to responsible and sustainable viticulture reflects their desire to pass on a precious heritage to future generations. Each vintage is a reflection of their passion and respect for the land.

    Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Lynch-Moussas is a meticulous process, blending tradition and innovation. The hand-harvested grapes are carefully sorted before being destemmed and crushed. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled vats, allowing for optimal temperature management. Aging occurs in oak barrels, some of which are new, to impart complexity and roundness to the wine. This maturation process, lasting 12 to 18 months, gives Château Lynch-Moussas 2018 its richness and unique character.
